About Park Farm Trout Fishery
Park Farm Trout Fishery is a small private flyfishing club which leases an exclusive section of the River Darent near Shoreham in Kent. Our stetch of this beautiful river is regularly stocked with predominantly brown trout but also with some rainbows. Our season runs from April 1st – 30th September and coarse fishing is available outside these dates, subject to close season regulations.

Some views of our stretch of this beautiful river
Fishing is mainly from the bank but we also have several stretches where wading is permitted. Members are allowed to use nymphs as well as wet and dry flies, the latter must be fished upstream. Lures and flies bigger that size 10 are not permitted.

The extent of the water we fish
The club is run by a small group of Directors and a committee of experienced members. As a condition of membership, all members are expected to assist where they can and to attend at least three work parties each season in order to ensure that that the banks and condition of the river is maintained to the highest possible standard.

Regular work parties ensure the river is well maintained throughout the season
We welcome applications from new members (both men and women) and can provide some initial assistance for those who have not fished a river before. Pease use the form on the ‘contact’ page to submit your application.
